Values

engagement icon

Commitment

Without commitment, it is impossible to get closer to your ideal lifestyle. Motivation is what gets you started, but commitment is what keeps you going, and it's the small daily actions that lead to the end result we seek. That's why we put in 100% effort and ask for the same from our clients.

compassion icon

Compassion

Everyone is different and there is no right or wrong way to do things. We can all learn something from each other. Being empathetic and caring, accepting the other person as they are, helping them, listening to them, understanding and respecting their point of view is our motto.

durability icon

Sustainability

It's time to value what we have and reduce our excessive consumption because we own far more than we really need. Our motto is: less is more. We only have one planet so let's take care of it.

transparency icon

Transparency

In this world with so much information, it's easy to hide some of it to gain advantages. However, there is no trust without transparency and we have nothing to hide, which is why we advocate full transparency.

Our team

Tabea: Founder, certified KonMari® consultant and Chief Operating Officer

My name is Tabea and I am originally from Mörel-Filet in the Upper Valais. After living in Saignelégier, Pittsburgh and Neuchâtel, I finished my Master’s degree in sustainability at the University of Lausanne in August 2022. Since then, I have been living in Bern, where I work for the Mobiliar as an assistant in public affairs & sustainability.

Having been a professional volleyball player for several years, organisation, planning and discipline are essential elements to excel in this sport. However, life as a sportswoman prevented me from fully devoting myself to my passion, which is to try to improve the well-being and development of people and to take care of nature through tidying.

I discovered the art of tidying up in spring 2020. Being organised by nature, order always sparked me joy. However, it was only when I realised and understood that this trivial act could have a high impact on a person’s life, that I decided to invest more time in this area. This new way of living continues to inspire me every day and my goal is that every person who wishes to do so can experience such a transformation - which will improve their well-being and allow them to move towards their ideal life.

P.S.: My Master thesis from 2022 examines the influence of Marie Kondo’s method on clothing consumption, click here to read it in French.

Thea: Co-founder and Head of Marketing and Social Networks

My name is Thea and I am originally from Neuchâtel. I did all my schooling in the canton of Neuchâtel. When I was 16, I went to London for six months to learn English. This enabled me to do my apprenticeship in an international company in the region as a commercial employee, while obtaining my professional maturity. For two years I juggled my life between playing volleyball in the national league and my first job. However, in 2018 I decided to take on a new challenge and to live another adventure. So, here I am since 2018 at Bournemouth University in England to get my Bachelor in Events Management.

A large part of my studies are based on marketing and communication, subjects I am passionate about. However, being a quiet person, I prefer to stay in the background and contribute this way to the development of the company.

Nathanael: Information Technology Manager

my name is nathanael and i like to play the role of the “advocatus diaboli” (although i have little to do with church and state). in other words: i am a lateral thinker. as a minimalist, i came across the konmari® method, which can be summed up with one question: what brings me joy? a powerful question. for me, the answer is usually: not my possessions! bad tongues are saying that i am in love with my computer. this love and the love for my sister led me from one to the other and to the result you are looking at right now: this website - i hope you like it!

If you want to know more about us, please click on this sentence to dive into our story...

She began with sport. Thea and I (Tabea) met in 2016 in the National League A volleyball team in Neuchâtel. Being in the same team, we fought for the same goals. The relationship as teammates developed into a deeper friendship, going beyond the sports world.

Having been convinced from the start to become a KonMari® consultant and open my own consulting business, I asked Thea one day in March 2021 for help with a video. On the day of the meeting, she prepared several documents to help with this new project. From then on, our collaboration became obvious. Not only because of our complementary skills, but also because of the values we share and which are the basis of our company Organised Home.

On 27 March 2021, we embarked on this adventure with great enthusiasm, determination and motivation. Along the way, Nathanael, my brother, joined the team. As he is an expert in IT, a field that is essential for the creation of a company, he was automatically part of the team.

Here we are, a team with a horizontal governance, having the same desires: to develop by continuously learning while following our values that contribute hopefully to a positive change in society.
